A year ago, Kingdom Enterprises started a Benevolence Fund to help responsible people that are in need that we come across while ministering.

We are not able to take money allocated for evangelism, budget expenses, and ministry endeavors and use it for the benevolence fund (and neither are in a financial position to do so.

Everything donated to the Benevolence Fund will go to helping people that we meet out ministering that are in need, living responsible lives, and are moving towards greater growth in their relationship with Christ. The fund started when the Forrest family had an emergency water leak in their home that required all the pipes to be redone. They were expecting a baby in a month and therefore their income was cut due to maternity leave. They were taking incredible steps of growth in their relationship with Christ and ran into real physical needs that they needed help meeting. Kingdom Enterprises wanted to help meet their physical need. Thus, the benevolence Fund was born.

As a ministry, the reason why we don't just do a fundraiser through goFund me is because they charge around 10% . We get charged 2.2% by Paypal and therefore it is much better for us to host the fundraiser.

 

We dont get anything donated. None of it goes to administrative costs  Just 2.2% goes to Paypal but the rest goes entirely to helping others.

 

None of it goes to Kingdom Enterprises ministry budget. No recipients of the benevolence fund are board members or family members or family members of board members.

Please make sure to put "Benevolence Fund" in the part where you can put a message. That way we will know to allocate it.
